The organisers of the Bandon Music Festival have 'raised the bar' to an even higher level this year with a larger calendar of events for this great music weekend.

As well as the entertainment within the many locations, there is also free street entertainment -

Farmers Market - Acoustic Chicks
Riverview Shopping Centre - For Folks Sake & Red FM's Red Patrollers &
The Shambles - The Blizzards supported by the Mark Hogan Band.

Sunday:
Oliver Plunkett St - Free live music with Rubicon & set dancers &
The Shambles - Free live music with Delorentos & Republic of Loose.

Bandon Summer Show a huge success

The 2008 Bandon Summer Show has once again proved to be a huge success. The large attendance had a great day with young and old enjoying the wide range of activities.

The day was officially opened by Mr Brian Crowley MEP who was delighted that the organisers had even organised some clear weather for th afternoon.

Congratulations to the organisers and the many winners of the very wide range of activities.

Bandon Agricultural Show takes place at Castlebernard, Bandon

On Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Entertainment for the afternoon includes:
