Midnight Walk - Nov 20'th 2009

A walk worth doing for those we care about is taking place in Bandon on Friday, November 20'th at midnight.

You are invited to walk in memory of someone special in your life and help raise funds for a good local cause.

Entry costs €25 and you will receive a t-shirt with the name of the person that you are walking for.

Closing dates will be on Friday 30'th October and each walker must be registered. Any walker under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will take full responsibility for them throughout the walk. Minimum age is 12 years.

The walk route is just over 4 miles and should take 1 hour approx to complete. It starts and finishes in the Riverview car park.

Please note that the walk is not a race and walkers are reminded not to run or jog.

The walk is also marshalled by the Gardai along with any volunteers who are available on the night.
